Irshad Ahmad is associated with our company as Chief Operating Officer. In addition to this sole, he is also overseeing Aviation practice and the Treaty team. Prior to his appointment at Unique Insurance Brokers, he was associated with AON Insurance Brokers as the General Manager working with the London Market for placements and Singapore, Bahrain and Hong Kong for Facultative & Treaty Reinsurance policy placements. He has also been associated with National Insurance Corp, Pakistan International Airlines, Unique Corporation, Pakistan Insurance Corp and Arab Re-Insurance Group (ARIG). With his vast experience in the insurance industry, Irshad Ahmad is a valuable asset for company.

Chief Financial Officer

Muhammad Faisal is associated with our Company as Chief Financial Officer. In addition to his role as CFO he is responsible for the operational, regulatory and compliance matters.

Prior to this he had been associated as Chief Financial Officer and Company Secretary with TMT Ventures Limited and AKD REIT Management Company Limited. He is well conversant with the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), and International Accounting Standards (IAS), Pakistan’s banking, corporate law and tax administration, preparing budgets and forecasting cash flow. He effectively manages department performing result oriented tasks.

He is a Fellow member of Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan and Fellow of Pakistan Institute of Public Finance Accountants.

As Chief Operating Officer of Unique Insurance Brokers, Karim ensures the company is compliant, efficient, profitable, and client-focused, while executing the company’s strategy and preparing it for the growth. With over 25 years of comprehensive experience in engineering consultancy and the general insurance industry, Karim brings a wealth of expertise in underwriting, risk management, reinsurance, claims, client servicing, and general management. Karim holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from NED University of Engineering & Technology, Karachi. While serving the insurance industry, he served with leading organizations such as EFU, JGI, and AIG. Karim became an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute (ACII), UK, in 2004. He holds a Certificate in IT for Insurance Professionals (CITIP) from the British Computer Society (BCS), and has completed specialized training in risk engineering, project insurance, and claims management from prestigious institutions such as Swiss Re, FM Global, and Willis.
